Mechanics

• Tournament format is double elimination; participants start in the winners' bracket.
• Losing a match moves players to the losers' bracket for a second chance; the last remaining in the losers' bracket faces the winners' bracket champion in the Grand Finals.
• Stages are randomly selected.
• Character sides are decided by a coin toss; winners choose first.
• Blind Pick Character Selection is allowed to counter pick.
• The losing player may change characters or rematch.
• Violating rules results in an immediate loss.
• Matches are Best of Three (3) until the Finals, which are Best of Five (5).
• Standard arcade sticks, controllers, and keyboards are allowed; macro functions are not permitted.
• Players must be present by their start time; 10 minutes late may result in disqualification.
• Accidental or intentional pauses forfeit the current round.
• The officer may restart a game or match due to significant errors or bugs.
• Stalling or excessive trash talking may lead to disqualification and result in an immediate loss.
