League of Legends: Summoner's Rift

Dive into the thrilling world of League of Legends with our school's ultimate 5v5 competition! In this strategic battle arena, teams of students face off on Summoner's Rift, aiming to demolish the enemy Nexus through skillful teamwork, sharp communication, and creative strategies. As they navigate the Top, Mid, and Bottom lanes and defend their own base, players will strengthen their abilities in critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance. This tournament isn't just about winning—it's about fostering a respectful, inclusive esports community that values growth, resilience, and sportsmanship at every level of play.

Mechanics

• Tournament format is single elimination with 16 teams in Qualifiers.
• Top 8 teams advance to Quarterfinals; Qualifiers to Quarterfinals are online in Bo1 format.
• Semifinals, Third Place, and Finals are onsite in Bo3 format.
• Matches played in Draft Mode; online games streamed with a 5-minute delay.
• First 16 registered teams qualify; teams must consist of 5 players and an optional substitute.
• Each team has a Captain; members must be STI College Ortigas-Cainta students in BSCS, BSIT, BMMA, or SHS MAWD, STEM, or CCTECH.
• Teams cannot include players under contract with any E-sports organization.
• Teams must follow match schedules and be in Discord channels 15 minutes before their match.
• Late arrival by more than 10 minutes results in disqualification.
• Side selection determined by coin toss; only officials allowed as spectators.
• Teams must stay in their Discord channels during matches.
• Officials may pause the game as needed; players may pause for disconnections or physical issues only.
• Intentional pauses without notifying officials result in a warning.
• Winning teams should fist bump opponents post-match.
• Match results are reported with a screenshot on Discord, and brackets updated.
• Profanity or disruptive behavior leads to warnings; 3 warnings result in disqualification.
